of the things we currently do:
- Provide funeral luncheons by donating
a dish to pass and/or serving
lunch.

information.
- Weekly visits to shut-ins at The
Village Rehabilitation (Fair Acres) in

from our church each month.
- Serve on the
Altar Guild one month a year.

events - Cookie Walk, Pie Sales, Garden

The
Women's Ministry is hosting their annual

member, as well as anyone who likes to
bake pies, to bake FOUR pies, although
any number will be gratefully accepted.

find them on the display table in the
Crossroads. If at all possible, drop
your pies off at the Crossroads or the
kitchen on Sat, May 5th between noon and
2 p.m. We also need pie sellers! If you
can help out after church services,
please contact LEANNE (586.336.1074) as
soon as possible.Stop by before or after
services and purchase the pie of your
choice. We're sure you'll find something
that will tempt those taste buds!

Please
join us on Thursday May 10, 2012 at 7 pm.
in Room 6 for our annual Perennial
Exchange. You do not have to be a member
of the Women's Ministry to attend - nor do
you have to bring a flower to get in.
We've always had plenty of flowers
available for you to take home to plant in
your garden. We are also collecting new or
gently used pillowcases (any size,
material or color) which will be used at
the LWML Convention to make dresses for
African girls. If you'd like, you may also
bring in items to support the health kits.
These kits will either be sent to the
convention to support St. Paul's Pontiac
Mission or Lutheran World Relief. These
items include: Travel bar soap, washcloth
or small hand towel, toothbrush, travel
toothpaste, small comb, hand sanitizer,
small rain poncho, small plastic packet of
band aids, small toy or book for child.
And finally, we can't let you go for the
summer without one more game - MITES
BINGO! Please bring a roll or bag of coins
with you to use a markers. After the game,
all markers will be added to our mites
contribution. As always, ALL LADIES ARE
WELCOME!
