St.
Peter is blessed with many talented musicians. The Music Ministry of
St. Peter has many options so you can join us as we MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE
UNTO THE LORD!
Listed
below are many of the
opportunities
available for you:
- THE
ADULT CHOIR: a choral group that
meets each Wednesday
from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- THE
SANCTUARY CHOIR: a choral group
that
meets once a
month on a Sunday evening. Call the Minister of Music for more
information -see below.
- These ensembles participate in
worship several times
a
month and join forces for special services and concerts throughout the
school year.
- THE
MEN’S CHOIR: sings for worship
once
a month and meets
prior to the service.
- THE
FESTIVAL CHOIR:
a larger choral group that requires a limited commitment meets to
provide music for special services, especially on Easter Sunday.
- THE
ADULT HANDBELL CHOIR: a 4-octave
handbell choir that
rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.
- Amplified Worship : a
choral/instrumental group that
leads the non-traditional worship service on Sunday Mornings at 10:45 am.
This group meets on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm for
rehearsal.
- St. Peter Wind Ensemble: We will hold our
first rehearsal on Thursday, May 11.
- Instrumentalists in
the congregation are also encouraged to use their talents to serve the
Lord. Instrumental ensembles meet to enhance the worship services
throughout the year. A larger group gathers for the Christmas concert
and Easter services.
