Pastoral Care
When to call one of our Pastors?
While our pastors are always willing to help in any way they can, there are some important times to especially seek spiritual wisdom, support and direction.:
  • When facing an emergency or scheduled medical procedure.
  • At the death of a family member or close friend.
  • The birth of a child.
  • In the midst of a personal, marital, or family crisis.
  • At the loss of a job or a difficult transition in career.
  • When facing a difficult or life-changing decision.
  • When God has worked a miracle and you just have to tell the good news.

How do I make contact with a pastor?
Contacting the church office is the most efficient way. Our caring and capable secretaries will help you make contact. The numbers are listed in the "Contact Us" portion of this site.

What other care ministries are available?
God has led many caring individuals to be a part of His ministry through St. Peter:
  • Stephen Ministry—Trained, caring members coming alongside hurting people.
  • Parish Nurse—Assists in homebound follow-up, health screening, and advocacy.
  • Visitation Elders—Assist the pastors in hospital, shut-in, and general membership visitation.
  • Referral to professional, Christian counselors.
