Bo & April Chapman

MEET OUR NEW MINISTER OF YOUTH

Bo and April Chapman

Bo & April Chapman

Bo Chapman has been serving in youth ministry for close to a decade.  He originally graduated with his Baccalaureate & Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1994 and 1996, respectively, before being asked to serve as the interim youth minister at Trinity Lutheran Church, Tyler.  From that interim position, Bo would shortly thereafter become the full time youth minister for Trinity, Tyler, and would spend a little over nine years working with students there.  It was also during this time that Bo returned to college through the distance learning program and obtained his certification as a Director of Christian Education through Concordia University, Austin, Texas.

On December 27, 2003, Bo was blessed to be able to marry the love of his life, April Michelle Brown.  April is a dental hygienist and has recently obtained her Baccalaureate Degree in Dental Hygiene through the correspondence program at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Personal hobbies for the Chapman’s include lots of travel, performing and listening to music, as well as, playing and watching sports (okay, maybe the sports is just for Bo).  They also really love spending time with their beautiful and extremely large English Mastiff, Samantha.

The Chapman’s are excited about their chance to serve God in this new chapter of their life at St. Peter Lutheran Church.  They are also excited that God has blessed them with a baby girl due this July.  With this new journey ahead of them and baby number one on the way, Bo and April are thankful to be once again in the midst of such a loving congregation.
