My name is Julie Kowalke and I have been teaching for 28 years.

My teaching career has been filled with many adventures.  I have taught in Billings, Montana, St. Louis, Missouri, Utica, Michigan and most recently in Decatur, Indiana.

This is my first year at St. Peter Lutheran School, Macomb. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in teaching from Concordia University, St. Paul and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University.   I am also a graduate of the SLED program through the LCMS.

My passion is to share how much God loves each one of us and to guide my students to know God more deeply.  I hope that my students can recognize the many blessings that He pours out on us each day.

I love to teach math! I also enjoy reading a good book, spending time traveling with family and friends, and playing golf.
