Jennifer D’Agostin – 8th Grade Teacher
This is my second decade of teaching. I am very excited to be a part of Saint Peter Lutheran School. Middle School students have always held a magic place in my heart.
I love to share my passion about reading with my students. Books build strong connections and memories. It is my hope that my students experience the magic of reading and have that moment when everything around disappears and they don’t even realize when they are laughing out loud.
I am blessed with a wonderful husband Mike, two awesome children, Anthony and Isabella. My two bonus kids Stephanie, a devoted and fantastic first grade teacherand Michael who is an amazing artist.
My message for Middle School Students: Take advantage of each and every opportunity you are given in school. Always be persistent and willing to step outside of your comfort zone. Keep the love of Jesus in your heart and always do better than you did the day before.
Dave Dembeck – 8th Grade Teacher
My name is David Dembeck and I am beginning my 42nd year of teaching and my 21st year at St. Peter. I have been blessed with working with many children at schools in Michigan and Pennsylvania. I completed my undergraduate work at Concordia College in Seward, NE with a BS in Elementary Education with a Social Studies major. I received my Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from MSU in 1985.
While I thoroughly enjoy teaching US History, teaching the Christian faith has always been my favorite class. Leading students to develop a deeper relationship with their Lord and Savior Jesus, is a big responsibility, and one that I take very seriously.
The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Valorie, four children and seven grandchildren. I enjoy photography, model building, and wood working. As I approach retirement in a few years I look forward to traveling around the country with my wife.
